Eriberto Skiles –
I bought this because I’m tired of spending over $200 on a tire to only have it last 4000 miles. I don’t do burnouts and feel they should last much longer than that. I like that this seems to have a wider contact patch than the Dunlops and Bridgestones do. These look like the area where most of the wear is going to occur is at least 50% wider. It’s a flatter tire, not as rounded as the Dunlops and Bridgestones are. I’m hoping because the contact patch is wider it will translate to longer wear. If it doesn’t at least it didn’t cost $200 or more. I balanced it with glass beads, so far no vibrations.

Shinobu aren’t the best tires, but I guess there better than MayPops if you’re in a pinch!
