First off it is important to note that these are made for a UTV and NOT a full size jeep. Also, if your roll bar is padded, they won’t fit. So be sure to measure your roll bar. If its 1.75″ or smaller, these will fit great. These are a perfect fit for our Kawasaki Mule XC. When we go “mule’n” the passenger doesn’t have anything to hold onto. Its different for the driver who has both hands on the steering wheel, but Kawasaki put the handles up front next to the windshield. I don’t know who had the bright idea to put them there, but I have never used them, because I have to nearly get out of my seat to grab them. These handles are the perfect size for the roll cage even with the factory roof in place. They can be slid front to back along the bar to any location that is comfortable. Definitely one of the best purchases we have made for our Mule. I was very surprised at the quality of these, especially considering the low price. Very well made with slide thru buckles (no clips), velcro and flexible rubber handles.NOTE: There are two in a package!UPDATE: We have had these a few months now and use them every time we ride our Mule, which is almost every day. They are holding up very well.

I purchased these to add more usable handholds to a Kawasaki Mule 4010. The stock handle on the utv is a little far away to be comfortably used to feel secure in your seating while the mule is moving. I mounted them in the center of the top, outside tube of the roll cage on either side of the utv. They are in a much better position to give that secure feeling while under way.My only concern with them is the way the handles are attached to the rest of it. Any big pull to one side pulls on directly on the stitching holding the handle in place. If you are buying these then you know that you can be thrown violently and quickly to one side while riding in a utv. They seem sturdy enough to last for a while but we will see what the sun and elements do to the thread. And in reality at the price they are it won’t hurt to replace them if the stitching let’s loose in a year or two.

18 May 2020These are an awesome addition to any UTV the Velcro straps are very strong and it’s designed in such a way, where the stress does not get put on the Velcro so their is no chance of it coming undone when your holding on. They can be installed on just about any type of bar rounded or square. These come in useful for the passenger since we usually don’t have anything to hold on too. The handle is sturdy and can even be used to help the young at heart get in and out easier.

Does what I was hoping it would. Fits our Rzr XP 1000 roll cage bars great. Ours has a hard top so it was a little bit of a hassle to get on being that one person had to hold up the roof a little while the other had to get the straps through the holes to tighten it and then fold down the side to Velcro it. So if you have a hard top on your UTV, it’s a little bit of a pain.. but they work nice for somewhere for you to hang onto when you just want a place to put your arm.

This thing holds on too; sure it’s designed for you to safely hold on during a bumpy ride, but if it can’t hold on itself, it would be of no value to you. The Velcro straps are of significant enough width and staying power along with the buckles to securely anchor this to the bar. The handle is thick and ergonomically designed to get a solid grip. The grip is also vented, a very smart idea since if you are using this it is probably during a time of stress and you are probably sweating which would promote slippage, but the venting helps with that. The handle attachments offer enough leeway in that you can fit your big mitts in there. I wasn’t sure until I got it if I would have a problem fitting my hands with gloves, but they thought of that too and designed it well to consider those challenges.

They easily fit on the 1.75 bars on my Gator, and have plenty of adjustment to accommodate larger bars, probably up to 3 inches. Smaller bars are going to require some trimming, I expect. The handles are covered with some sort of plastic that keeps the handle from collapsing and pinching your fingers, and provides a little more “meat” to improve your grip. The fabric that separates the mounting straps and carries the label is fairly stiff, and will probably be adequate for most uses, but extreme pulling on the handle will eventually collapse the fabric allowing the mounting straps to move together and changing the shape of the grip loop. It’s a little hard to explain, but you’ll see what I mean. The fabric is padded, though, to help protect your hands.I like these handles, very much, and I will add a couple more to the Gator, and maybe a couple in strategic places on the tractor.Very good gear.
