UPDATE 9-6-2020: Still a nice cover and doing just fine. It’s survived some windy nasty thundering rain storms that blow in my door-less garage/car-port in summer, which is why I bought it. But I digress. I put a full size HD detachable windshield on my scoot. Without the sissy bar the cover does fit all the way down and the cotton liner to prevent scratching the windshield is in the correct place. It’s snug just as it was in the pic’s with the sissy bar, but it will fit over your expensive HD windshield without tweaking it. You could likely cover “small” saddle bags with a windshield and no sissy bar, but it’s one or the other, …windshield or sissy bar, not both.Fwiw in case you’re wondering? …have no fear regarding a winter shelter for my rare baby you see pictured in regards to the rain blowing in. She’s kept on a trickle charger nice and warm in a heated secure garage come winter. Her and I like to go for rides on nice sunny days when roads are clear in winter when we can. Too much snow for the season means too much salt’s left on the road, and in that case regardless how nice the roads may look she stays inside clean and toasty. ;-)_Original Review (cleaned up a little as it was contradictory of the above update):Fast shipping. Well built, as described, and better/heavier quality than the cheap $20-30 covers. Cruiser style cover fits my ’09 HD CVO Dyna FatBob. Fits very well but leaves no room for anything else so if you have a windshield or saddlebags/trunk etc, it will not cover all. As you can see in the pic’s it’s a snug fit on my FatBob with sissy bar as pictured. You might be able to cover small throw-over saddlebags along with a sissy bar/backrest, but not hard-side full size saddlebags; add a trunk and forget it. You’ll need a larger sized cover that would possibly give the extra expansion needed to cover a tour pack with large saddlebags. Check with the cover seller or manufacturer to make sure you get the right size for your needs. It does have the soft cotton liner for the windshield.As you can see in the 3rd pic the moisture vent does sit up high and seems to help. This summer is wetter than any on record for over a 100 years here around the great lakes and we’ve had more than our share of rain and thunder storms as well as a few reasonably windy days and nights with gusts up to about 30-40mph+. Cover has held up through it all and shows no sign of seam/thread deterioration or ware. Scooter has been dry every time I’ve taken the cover off. As far as heat resistance goes, I generally let my scooter cool down for 30-45 minutes+ before putting the cover on so pipes and motor overall are not blistering hot. Things have been pretty warm a couple times and cover did what it’s supposed to do. Allowing some cool-down time is a given with any MC cover.Folks complaining about these melting on pipes and motors etc are morons thinking you can throw “any cover” over a hot motor and pipes.It needs to be cool enough you can touch it without burning the skin off your fingers! It’s a no-brainer! The aluminized part is to “help” prevent heat damage, not stop from melting fabric that’s next to “high-heat” items such as hot motors and pipes. Geeez people, use a little logic here. It’s not rocket science! BTW, the compression sack it comes with works just fine. Compresses down to about the size of a small 2-person tent or roughly about the size of your leather jacket rolled for strapping to handlebars or wherever. Picture 1.5 times the length of a 3lb coffee can and about the same diameter.Highly recommend this cover. Just be aware of the sizes and pick the correct one for your needs.
