I bought this cover 4 years ago. It has covered my Suzuki Vstrom outside every day for 4 Michigan summers. I do store my bike inside during the winter. It has never leaked however the seam tape on the inside is starting to come loose in several spots. The tape snags on parts of the bike when you remove it. When it snags it just tears off more tape. I am ordering a new one to replace my old one. I plan on trying to do something to the seam tape to improve its durability. I’m thinking maybe covering it with duct tape. Any ideas?

Cover feels great and durable. My second cover from dowco. Buy the grey one. The black one can get hot I think cuz my top box on my tracer 900 got a little melted from heat. I noticed the grey runs cooler!

This is a thick, beefy cover. Fits a KLR650 with hard SoloBox panniers perfectly. Should work without the panniers, but would have a lot of extra fabric across the back. Waterproof so far. Too soon to judge durability, although a previous light / intermittent duty Dowco cover lasted 3 years before succumbing to UV damage, and this one is MUCH sturdier. The only negative I can think of is the lack of orientation or reference markings, so it takes a moment to sort out and align properly – easily addressed with a permanent marker if it bothers you.
