These tires last 8 to 10,000 miles. They are nice and grippy perfect for a Harley Road king.

Fast shipping comes in huge cardboard box first for me. Save the cost for shipping giant box and lower tire price. Great seller.

This will be my 2nd American Elite on the front of my 2014 Kawasaki Nomad, an 850# heavy motorcycle. The first tire has about 19,000 miles on it and is still legal, though close. I’m planning on some long distance rides this year so I know it’s just a matter of time (and miles), and will need to change it out soon. This tire brand/model has incredible wear and handling characteristics and I highly recommend it for heavier motorcycles. The tire was delivered promptly and was shipped inside a box. Interesting! I’ve gone through many motorcycle tires and have never had one delivered in a box. Usually they’re wrapped in tape or with cardboard inserts with the shipping label affixed to the tire itself. Not a negative or a positive, just unusual. The only negative is that the tire is a little older than I would have liked. Maybe that’s the reason it was the best price I could find? The advice is that the recommended max age of a motorcycle tire’s life is about 5 years and this one is already 1-1/2 years since manufacture. Since I put a lot of miles on my bike I’m not concerned (at least not too much), but would have liked it a little “fresher”.
