Purchased to replace a well used V55 case. The v57 has redesigned hinges, better locking mech as well as a security feature which will prevent virtually any attempt to rip the case off with a prybar. This case is compatible with any Givi mounting plate be it old or new. The mount plate I am using is over 14 years old and the v57 case attached with no issues. This case does have the ability to have red lights added for additional visibility. The only problem you will have is actually getting the Givi lighting kit. I have been waiting to purchase the kit for a few weeks now and I don’t know when/if Givi will ever have it to purchase.

I have a ctx1300 and that model discontinued all their accessories so I chose this top case based on size. This fits my bike perfectly. It fits two full size helmets perfectly and my gloves, bike cover and an extra helmet shield with room to spare. It can come off and on by a push of a button. I packed three days worth of clothes into if I wanted to use it as a suitcase. The top case lights I’m still trying to decide if I’m going to get themHooked up but I heard they are bright. You can purchase the pad from cycle gear… I did… but I’ll probably never have a passenger. I only did it for looks. But I would buy it again.Make sure you have a rack and get the mount also.

Will hold up to 100mph rides. Can hold quite a bit of gear.
