kitako (kitaco) Reinforced Clutch Spring Set Grom (Grom) 307 – 1432600

My 2014 grom has a completely new clutch assembly because I was having shifting problems. 2nd to 3rd gear tended to get stuck. I had the problem when the bike was a 4speed but still fight it after converting to a 5 speed.No idea why after years of chasing the problem. So i replaced everything with stock parts (because honda OEM parts are cheap). Overkill, maybe. Figured that approach would solve anything. Theory was the spring dampers in the clutch basket were weak and getting stuck.Later found I ALSO had a failing fuel pump causing the engine to get weaker and weaker. Once I fixed that, the brand new clutch started slipping. Adjusting the clutch engagement was no help.So I looked for stiffer springs. Went with these. Worked a charm. No more slip. Was concerned the clutch pull might make me grumpy at the end of long days. Not the case. Can ride an entire trackday, no worries. Even at my aarp age. This stock motor spends the whole day at a karttrack bouncing off the rev limiter. I’m not putting anything more than stock power into it but I’m constantly putting WFO peak-power in. Would not hesitate to recommend these springs. They let me get away with this type of abuse. Thank you!!
