Cooper Sporer –
NOTE: Only used once so far. Installed it and went for a quick ride. Have attached 2 pictures that show the difference between stock, specifically how much higher on the tank and back of the seat.I’m a bigger guy and tall at 6’2 (33inch inseam) and 250 pounds. I often had the issue with being pushed into the tank especially under braking on my 2019 Ninja 400, causing me to feel like I was constantly crushing the goods. I put this one and went for a quick ride and it felt great, did not have that issue feel like I was being pushed into the tank under braking or even just riding around. Much more cushion than stock. The added seat height also made it much more comfortable and enjoyable as a taller rider, I felt it changed up the triangle with that extra 1-2 inches which also felt more nature when stopped having my legs mostly extended.Few other notes I did have. Fitment is “finicky” (?) not wrong though, I believe because of the added cushion in the front compared to stock that is what makes it harder to fit. I had to be careful putting it on so as the part that clips in didn’t hit scratch the paint at the back when fitting it in. Then had to look to make sure it was lined up correctly and then push it down kind of hard until it clicked in. Nothing that felt like it was wrong or going to break something. Stock just feels like it takes 1 second, throw it on and it kind of finds it way and clicks in on its own, this does not do that. I do question the staples though there were a few but they didn’t seem very large and felt there could probably have been more of them. I might add a few extra just to make sure everything stays in place long term.Again only riding with it once having just received it, I can’t speak to durability or longevity. However I do feel at the price I paid it was money well spent especially compared to the MUCH more expensive Kawasaki OEM tall seat or a Corbin.
