I removed my helmet liner to clean,HJC Large Full Face and although it’s in in nice shape, I noticed foam was a little compressed and thinned out.I installed this liner into the helmet shell and reinstalled factory liner over it. Perfect nice snug helmet again.I recommend this product.

I purchased this liner because I recently got a new motorcycle and brought my favorite helmet out of storage after many years. The outer shell and hard energy-absorbing inner foam were still fine, but the thin layer of soft foam under the cloth liner was disintegrating at the top (the foam in the old liner was still good at the bottom and sides. I wore it a few times but the old lining was so far gone that my head was contacting the hard protective foam and it was digging into my scalp. This new liner fit perfectly into the top of a size M Shoei helmet.Some reviewers have complained that it is thin. They are right, it is, but that was perfect for my application – it is padded just enough to protect my head exactly as the old liner did, but it is thin enough that it doesn’t change the fit of the helmet in any way.It comes with 5 hook-and-loop tape strips, with the other half of each hook-and-loop pair sewn into the liner (at the center and near the edge of each of the 4 flaps). I recommend practicing how you’ll position the liner first, then stick the loose strips onto the liner before peeling the backing to reveal the adhesive, then stick the center down first (should be at the top inside center of the helmet), then fold down and press on each of the four flaps. Then a single ride with the helmet will press that adhesive in as good as can be.I got a good fit this way on my first try. I had to cut some of the cloth away from the center of the old liner to fit the new one more easily, but it was obvious what to do.If you have an old motorcycle helmet that you don’t want to trash just because the inner liner is wearing out, this item is perfect. It’s a lot cheaper than buying a new helmet.I’ve attached two photos showing this item installed in my helmet (one with the sides of the old liner folded up which made the new liner easier to install, and another with the sides of the old liner folded down as it would be when you wear the helmet).

Shipping is fast! Even though it’s still cold in New York, I can already tell this helmet liner will be a must-have when it gets warmer. It fits perfectly, feels soft, and stays in place inside my helmet. hopefully I don’t need to deal with a sweaty, smelly helmet in the summer. Can’t wait to really put it to the test when the weather warms up!
