I got these for my niece, she loves to be active but thinks she is a stunt double. Every time I saw her her elbows and knees were scraped up. If she is not on a bike she is on skates and anything any of her friends ride by. These fit her well and were comfortable enough that she didn’t complain about wearing them. She said they are her superhero gear ha ha. No more scrapes and cuts. After a few times being out to the test they have minor scuffs but my niece doesn’t.

I buy this protection set for my 5-year-old. It fits well and is easy to adjust with the straps. The pads are soft inside, and the hard outer shell protects him when he falls. He can move easily and still feels safe. Very good for cycling and skating.

The quality on these seems fine. I got two for my 5 and 7 year olds who are about to start learning to ride bikes without training wheels. My kids are slightly smaller than average, but these are definitely too big for both of them. I can’t imagine them fitting any 3 year old, they’re probably ok for ages 7/8-10ish. I deducted a star for the sizing, otherwise they seem fine.
