This is a great product. I was using it on my hjc motorcycle helmet to get my gopro located over my chin because the helmet was curved and wouldn’t allow for a typical gopro mount to work. I was in am accident on the freeway which was pretty bad but this product held on. I was doing about 80mph when I was cutoff and after impact I was knocked unconscious. My gopro camera apparently broke off and they never found it but that’s because of the plastic parts on the gopro case broke. My tether cord also broke but this mount held on. You can see in my pictures that I slide across the freeway and grinded down a good portion of the metal on one spot. The mount didn’t come off the helmet and the pieces stayed intact and didn’t break or bend! It has the same positioning that I had it set for. Great product with excellent durability! I would recommend this product to anyone. If you like to ride and your helmet doesn’t allow for mounting on the chin but you want that view, go with this product. You won’t be disappointed. It would be nice if it had extra extensions because it wasn’t directly over my chin because it was a little short but I didn’t mind. It still captured footage at a great angle. I would highly recommend this product! I’m getting ready to start riding again and I’m about to buy another gopro. I thought about reusing this mount because it’s still intact but I’ll probably just buy another one because it’s offered at a good price.
