I purchased this for my Aprilia 50cc Scooter. It says it was for a larger motorcycle but I bought it big on purpose. I wanted the cover to fit like loose jeans and not super snug. So the measurements of my scooter are about two inches smaller than the measurements of the cover. Love that. The cover has a generous amount of elastic at the back wheel to gather around and keep it from sliding up when you have heavy winds. There is an band with a snap clasp on it at the front which I threaded through the spoke of the front wheel and it kept that end of the cover down and tight.I put this on the scooter this morning and left it out on the driveway in our hell like heat of 101+. When I put the scooter in the garage around 4pm I noticed that the leather seat was considerably cooler than when I have left the bike out without a cover. Love that!No rain today so I didn’t get to see if it was water resistant. It is wind resistant and with several gusts, it just flapped but didn’t come off. Love that.The red is fantastic. The seams are double folded and double stitched so it won’t fall apart with a strong gust.I did receive this cover at a discount for my honest review. My honest review is, I love it and would have purchased it at full price. I might get another to go over the bicycles that are just leaning against the house. Oh. Brilliant idea.8/15/16 UPDATE: We have had 3″ of rain per day for three days now. The scooter was out in the rain with this cover on for the first day. There were about four drops of rain on the seat, base, helmet storage and front fender. Four drops each for three inches of rain pelting the Scooter for 24 hours. So I would say it is waterproof.
