I have a motorcycle as my daily after being laid off. I bought this after my full face helmet visor flew off on the freeway. It would fog up any time I flipped it down. I bought this to prevent me from having to air our my helmet potentially leading to another visor flying off. It works best in light rain as it doesn’t fog (everything around it fogs. I rode the other day in heavy rain on my bike and let’s just say although it helps…heavy rain motorcycle riding is terrifying as I couldn’t see the li es in the rode to know if I was in a single lane. Rain riding is rain riding but this makes it better.

Helmet visor fogging is a big problem when you are on the road. Rain and cold weather conditions create a fog on the inside of your visor obstructing vision, and it is very dangerous to try and wipe off while riding. The only option is to try to pull off the road while blinded to wipe the visor clear.I’d tried various coatings touted to prevent fogging on the inside of the helmet visor and none worked. My research showed that an insert is the best way to prevent fogging. This product was an inexpensive option & worth giving a try. The anti-fog insert adheres to the inside of your helmet visor. You are advised to clean the inside of your visor and wipe it with a lens cloth before inserting this lens. There is a clear cling-film alignment template that you stick to the outside of your visor to assist with proper location when installing. Apply the cling film to the outside of your cleaned visor, then peel the backing off the insert and align with the template. It sticks on with the raised silicone edge. Be careful to avoid scratching the soft film. Press firmly on the anti-fog lens over the silicone raised border to ensure the lens stays attached. I used only a lens cleaning rag or microfiber cloth to clean and maintain the lens.I just completed a 4,000-mile ride using this antifog insert riding in storms, cool weather and extremely hot weather and it worked great. Towards the end of my ride, I saw some very faint steam areas, but when I used a soft cleaning cloth to clean the lens the issue went completely away restoring the anti-fog capabilities. I stayed away from cleaning products to avoid altering the antifog surface. Using just a dry microfiber cloth rubbing gently across the liner served to clean and restore the full function of the liner for me when it was soiled with fingerprints etc.THIS WORKED GREAT THE ENTIRE time!! GREAT purchase!Some reviewers had reported problems, but my experience has been nothing but positive. I’ve just purchased a second antifog insert for my wife’s helmet.
