Purchased for My 2009 Yamaha Vstar 950.Item looked to be an exact replacement from the Factory Tire which had roughly 25k on prior to replacing with this tire. I had to cut the bead after removing one side of the original tire during the home tire removal process witch worried me a bit for the install, but… Lots of soapy water, patience and making sure you use your weight to hold things in place.. I proved to myself that even though not a fun day. It can be done on your own.(at home) As for the tread life of the tire? I hope to get 20k out of it.

Bought my bike with 2,000 miles on it. I put 5,000 more miles on the bike. When I took the bike in for an oil change and safety check they pointed out that my rear tire was worn through. I would have liked to have gotten a higher mileage tire, but the price, the ride and the fact that it was OEM lured me back.I received the tire within a few days, the price was great and the tire was recently made according to the code on the side of the tire.
