Always keep an eye on this welded component in any ramp product. This is where some ramps have had the weld crack and fail.If you are running a really heavy load over the ramp, (use common sense) you may need to support the ramp at this joint.unfolds easiy, its basically two pieces with a hing, 7 foot long.The platform is more or less solid with slits cut into it, reinforcement running along the sides.folded is about 3.5 foot long.Take it for what it is, as many products are out there with various differences. If you’re needing a good set of ramps for your pickup look no further. I’ve had these for a couple of years and they’ve worked out great for me. My John Deere weighs over 500 lb and I have had no trouble with these ramps. I strongly recommend them.
