Tire arrived very quick. Date was 4419 or 44th week late October early November of 2019, less than 1 1/2 years old. With covid and all, can’t complain about that.Only used 1/4 oz of weight to balance.Very nice ride on my 2009 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Haven’t rode in rain with it yet and hopefully won’t. However, doubt it will be an issue. Hope it wears better than the Dunlop 404 on had on the back. Got maybe 6000 miles on that and it was wore out.

UPDATE: I’ve got about 7000 miles on this year tire in about a year. The tire is sensitive to tire pressure I think. If it’s too soft, it seems like to can get the treads while riding straight, but it could just be the road also as it’s not all the time. PSI sweet spot seems to be about 38 lbs. No notable wearing at 7000, which would be just a little more than half use it off previous branded tires for me (this is suppose to be a longer lasting tire, so anything over 12,000 miles for me is gravy!) Traction seems good but very little rain driving so far. New Commander 3 going on the front here next week so the tires will be matched up. Very happy so far. I had used Dunlop’s E3 previously for 12 years and loved them but they went to E4s and they’re hard to find out non existent.So far, tire is rolling good. That said, new rubber is always good. We’ll see after 10,000 miles. It does feel easier to roll in the corners, but that may be because it’s new and my old tire I replaced was bald!
