Jeff Cruickshank –
Received fast and packaged well each part was individually boxed or wrapped and then all put in another box so that was nice nothing banging around and getting damaged by other parts. Super easy to install headed installed in less than an hour. Honestly can’t beat it for the cost I use the same setup on another four wheeler over a year ago and it’s still running strong with daily use and that’s hard use with my kids lol definitely worth the money.

Kit arrived quickly and packaged really well!! Very neat kit! WIth the help of several YouTube videos, Honda Recond Workshop Manual, and MUCH PRAYER, this job wasn’t that bad. It was my very first top end rebuild of any kind, but it was a SUCCESS!!! It took me roughly 13 to 15 hours over a few days.. couple to few hours per night. Took my time for sure! No issues with the kit whatsoever. Everything fit as it should with no leaks!!! This completely stopped the horrible smoking issue this Recon had due to my son taking it for a swim 🙁 I did choose to reuse the OEM metal jug gasket as it appeared to be of much bettery quality and still in good shape. The one that came in the kit was as thin as a tin can of soda. Might have worked, but didnt want to take the chance.I wish the kit came with new valve seals, but it did not. I did order them from ebay > Honda OEM > $20 for both. Expensive for what they are, but again, didnt want to chance it.In the end, with all parts and tools that I needed > valve spring compressor, lap lube, engine assembly lube, digital torque adapter from HF etc… I was all in for $275. IF…… I had to do it again, I could do it for $100 to $150 using this kit, and in more than likely half the time lol 🙂 Performed 2 Rotella T6 oil changes on it so far. I put roughly 3 hours of hard riding on it and so far so good!! I would definitly buy this kit again. Time will tell if it holds up like the OEM setup. I hope this helps someone else.God Bless
