It is a slab of steel…..shaped just right for the purpose. My motorcycle helmet has a quick release instead of a “D” ring strap and I had no way to lock it to the bike. Then I saw this item and it is just perfect for the job!Why didn’t I think of this! The price is really cheap for keeping my helmet from getting stolen!
