I’ve only had it for a week but so far it works perfect and I’m using it on a half helmet. I have made and received phone calls at 60 mph. I could hear perfectly and the person on the other end said it sounded clear to them. I also installed a Lenink CarPlay Jumper on my 2021 Street Glide Special. I have sent and received text, made and received phone calls and requested seri open apps all through voice commands. Everything works fine but there is a sequence I need to follow before using the Sena and you must answer calls with the button on the Sena not the Harley Boom. First plug your phone into the hdmi in the glove box, next turn your ignition on and then turn Bluetooth on on your phone and connect to Sena. With that sequence everything worked for me. The one thing that I wish I could resolve is the ability to answer the phone using the boom screen. The only time I touch any buttons is when answering a phone call. It’s not really a problem but this is the only time I need to touch my Sena.

I have two main issues with this headset. The first one is not the headsets fault. There was a lack of communication at Harley Davidson that made me believe this would do what I wanted it to without purchasing the wireless headset interface module. My guidance was incorrect. The second issue I have is with the buttons. I have found it difficult to operate them while in motion with the gloves. My gloves are not very thick or bulky, so I anticipated no problems. However, for me, I have not had a lot of luck. The quality of the headset is great. I have no complaints from that perspective.

I’ve been using the Sena 50S for a while now, and overall, it’s a solid communication system. The Mesh 2.0 works great for group rides, making it easy to stay connected with friends without constant disconnections. The sound quality from the Harman Kardon speakers is a big improvement over older models—clear and loud even at highway speeds. The jog dial is super convenient, especially with gloves, and the voice commands are a nice touch, though they don’t always work perfectly. Battery life is decent, and the fast charge is a lifesaver when I forget to charge it before a ride.

Amazing sound quality, very clear communications, and a great value.

Very nice and quality intercom set. Sound quality and phone calls are very clear…

This thing sounds way better than I expected. I mostly ride solo, so it’s usually just playing music. I can even listen to audiobooks on it! I’ve used it with another Sena for comms and it works great. The app lets you control which devices you connect to and has an equalizer to adjust the sound. Installation wasn’t too bad, you just have to make sure not to pinch any of the wires. I had to adjust the earpieces for a comfortable fit, but it feels and sounds great now.
