I had to move my 1998 BMW R120)C cruiser bike out of the garageThe wife said ‘only for the winter’ but I see no chance of being able to store the bike inside ever again…So – this DOWCO cover performed very well through the Colorado winter weather.It has good fit over the handlebars and across the saddlebags.Great elastic hold in place even through 60+ MPH winds.It did not leak water thru the fabric.The inside surface of the cover is a soft material and I think does not scratch the chrome at all.That interior liner makes it easy to slip over the bike when wet or dry.I think it has a thermally tough liner at the bottom edges to help avoid a meltdown when the bike is covered while hot. I never had any issue or sign of melting.I did allow the bike to cool 5-10 minutes before covering…I placed two plastic gallon bottles on the seat to create a high spot and avoid a puddle on the top of the cover. That worked well. The melting snow never made it thru the fabric.The cover never blew off or uncovered any part the bike at all.When needed, I will buy a DOWCO again.

Solid, heavy weight, strong elastic on bottom. These are best when you buy them a little bit large . Just throw it over the bike and the elastic cinches it tight right down to under the tires. There are some lighter weight covers that are easier to get on and off , this is solid foul weather protection.
