I mounted it my self using a tire changer from harbor freight with the motorcycle changer attachment. Tire is very stiff compared to the front so it was hard to squash the bead into the center channel of the rim so sidewall construction seems to be good. Good in the turns. Sometimes to good. I can touch my floorboards to the pavement. The only slippage I have experienced is on a turn when crossing a wet large white line. I had a set of Metzeler tires and even though they did last a little longer the front/rear ABS activated allot. Metzeler tires also felt like they got a little loose/wobbly on the front/rear when they got hot. I don’t have that problem with the D402’s. Might want to note I’m running a D404 rear tire I bought for my suzuki marauder on the front because I ordered the wrong size front. Apparently Harley Davidson lists one 18 in tire that fits a FLHTCU. All others tires listed are 16 in.. Turns out I should have purchased the 16 in.. Still handles nice.
